And now we long for a little rest, and do not find it; we are driven away, and do not receive it; the light has ceased before us, and darkness is our dwelling-place to all eternity.

Och liten är den hvila, vi önska; men vi finna den icke; vi förkasta den och äga den icke; ljuset har gått förbi oss; och mörkret har betäckt våra throner för evigt.

Och nu längta vi efter litet hvila, men finna ingen. Vi varda bortdrifna och få ingen frid. Ljuset är försvunnet för oss, och mörkret är vårt hemvist för evigt.
